Our vote for best Sunday brunch on Maui goes to the brunch at the Grand Wailea. We went to brunch both there and at the Molokini Terrace at the Makena Resort, our previous favorite, during our visit. Grand Wailea has Makena beat. They kept bringing out generous platters of ahi and hamachi sashimi, while Makena offered only seared Marlin–good but no match. Everything we sampled was delicious. The setting is beautiful, the open-air Grand Dining Room overlooking Wailea Beach. It’s great food plus its location, an easy walk from Wailea locations, put it over the top.
What Readers Have to Say
“…one of the best ever travel books about anywhere! One of the few I have read cover-to-cover. So much new information for someone who thought he was already well-informed…Your brief history of the islands, Captain Cook, etc, is the best I have ever seen for so few pages!”
