Our vote for best Sunday brunch on Maui goes to the brunch at the Grand Wailea. We went to brunch both there and at the Molokini Terrace at the Makena Resort, our previous favorite, during our visit. Grand Wailea has Makena beat. They kept bringing out generous platters of ahi and hamachi sashimi, while Makena offered only seared Marlin–good but no match. Everything we sampled was delicious. The setting is beautiful, the open-air Grand Dining Room overlooking Wailea Beach. It’s great food plus its location, an easy walk from Wailea locations, put it over the top.
What Readers Have to Say
“Your guidebooks were so successful at making us feel like kama’aina that we finally couldn’t face another flight back to the mainland, and moved to Oahu. We’ve used your guides to Maui, the Big Island and Oahu, and always have the latest edition of all four on hand. We’ve certainly found your advice to be helpful…Thanks again.”
