Quiet location for this condo, nicely kept grounds and rooms. There’s a large grassy bbq area next to the pool that makes a fine place to cook that fish you caught today (or bought at Costco). Lots of these units are timeshares, but there are still many vacation rentals available. The lanai’s privacy sacrifices part of the ocean view from some units, though corner units have particularly dreamy views. A few have a/c (ask for one). Some units may not have a phone. 1/1 units (780 sq. ft.) are $99–$224, 2/2 or 2/3 units (1,100 sq. ft.) are $140–$256. 3- or 10-night minimum.

What Readers Have to Say

“I just wanted to thank you so much for writing the terrific reveal travel guides. My husband and I just returned from a 2-week vacation to Hawaii. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary. We used your guides on all four of the islands that we visited, Oahu, Maui, the Big Island and Kauai. They seemed to be written just for our travel style. Just us and a rental car. No tour groups for us! We have done and seen things only possible with the insight of your books. One night at dinner we were talking to the waiter who, was native Hawaiian. He had asked what we had done that day. We went through a litany of sights and experiences (one being swimming in a fresh water cave). He got a stunned look on his face and then gave me the greatest compliment. Though I don’t think he knew it was a compliment. He said, “Wow, you are more local than I am!” That was so fantastic to hear. I wanted to share that with you since your books helped us be “locals.” Thank you again so much for your fabulous books.”
