Two condo buildings with comfortable 2/2 units with big lanais. You’re right above thin, sandy Kahana Beach (which may or may not be present during winter months). All have good ocean views, and the staff is friendly. Most units have shoji or pocket doors shutting off one bedroom, but otherwise, they’re nicely furnished and clean with large windows to overlook the water. They have a function room, which can be used by guests for anniversaries and such. The lanais in the A building get a lot of sun in the afternoon (versus the B building) and have more direct sunset views. Weekly housekeeping for stays of eight or more days. In all, a good value for the money. 2/2s (1,066–1,250 sq. ft.) are $228–$363. 5- or 7-night minimum. A $45 damage waiver is added to your cleaning fee.

What Readers Have to Say

“Your book was sooooo helpful. My husband and I managed to make the most of our 5 day stay on Maui by taking Maui Revealed with us everywhere we went, from the instant we got off the plane. We spent a minimal amount on food by splitting meals and ordering appetizers at many of your ONO restaurants, and we toured the South/West coast of the island, following your directions and narrative descriptions… Thanks to your thorough “revealing” of the Maui mystique as well as daily life on the island, we had more knowledge than most of the people we met. I had been waiting twenty years to go on my first Hawaiian trip, and I was anxious to get the most out of it, given our limited resources. We cannot wait to go back. I started planning our next trip the first day back in California.”
