135 rooms, microwave, fridge, coffee makers, free room safes, free local calls, free hi-speed Internet access in rooms, free Wi-Fi in lobby. A 10-story building from 1962. This resort had been fairly dreary and seemed cheaply furnished. What a difference a few million dollars can make. Rooms are now bright and modern, with new large bathrooms. Room sizes are pretty big, except for the standard category, which are also the only rooms that don’t have lanais. However, this resort feels overpriced because of the lack of facilities, such as a pool, and there are no real views. Reserved parking is $20. Rooms (271–451 sq. ft.) are $185–$200. Suites with full kitchens (722–986 sq. ft.) are $365–$515. Almost 3 blocks from the beach.
